Replaced K&N with True Flow Foam Filter

The only problem with foam filters... Is every single one deterioate and falls apart slowly, which sends small foam particles into your engine...
I preffer the K&N filter or the S&B filters...

Guys- this has been debated dozens of times already, the aftermarket foam filters are crap.

You're taking off a part with plenty of engineering behind it that performs better than everything else and installing a filter that does a worse job and then imagining it performs better by the "seat of the pants".

Run both filters on the strip and see what the difference is, then have a oil analysis done after running a foam filter and post here how much silica they'll find.

Save the headache and do a search here, the test data has already been posted.

I never tried this filter, but i did take my k&n off and i think the truck runs better with the stock element so if anyone wants to buy a k&n im sellin mine
