Thanks, I've got 30K on mine. I've smelled the lingering burning smell for some time now. And, yes, you're right, it's mostly near the back of the vehicle. I've asked the dealer about it, too, and they said it's nothing. But, it doesn't sound right to me.

they forgot to take the plastic covers off the brake rotors

I've had this issue coming down Big Bear to Riverside for some time now. I have 15k and it still happens. What the fux up, Doc?
