Thanx for the info. It is not that I am "dead set" on chrome wheels. I have chrome wheels that I want to black out. That is why I was asking if this process would work on chrome wheels. Anyway, I called a professional powder coating place today to get a quote for the wheels. They have not called back yet, but I think this (the powder coating) is the option I may go with.

Dead Set, I was trying to say, "that if your dead set on using" your existing chrome wheels its gonna be more hassles, time and money than starting out with a set of factory painted wheels, thats all.

Keep up on the powder coat guys, they are pains in the ass and get that quote in writing, Its not like they went to college to start a powder coat business


They also have Textured type powder coating, giving you the look of a Line X or Rhino coat spray look?
