It's been a while, but I believe my Fabtech lift came with Dual shocks, steering stabilizer, pitman & idler arms and heavy duty tie rods. I had some nasty loose steering issues right away. Removed the pitman and idler arms and that solved the problem. I would never say that the handling is poor compared to a stock H2. In fact, I like it better. And I agree with Stacy, I will never drive one without the lift!

Now as to your diff leak, I am blonde and can't help you with that though I could whip you up a mean hot chocolate! (It's cold here today!)

Thanks for your replies.

Does fabtech lift include everything that is needed for proper intallation.
Should I get also steering stabilizer or is there something else that you would recommend that could increase handling?

Can I possibly find fabtech lift installation manual somewhere ? I found ranchos manual which is very nice, but can´t find anything for fabtech ?

I´ve called couple local shops that could do the install and they are asking 3500 euros or 5100$ for ranchos kit with 4x 9000 shocks+ install which is very high. I could get fabtech lift for 2650 euros or 3800$+ install its high also but not as high as ranchos kit. How much lift installation cost over there?

I´m trying to find as much information as I can possibly get before choosing which kit I should buy. Fabtech installation manual would help a lot.

Post Re: Fabtech 6" lift

I decided to go with ranchos kit because it seems to be only street legal kit here in Finland. Ranchos kit does not include shocks. Is it possible to install the kit without ranchos shocks using stock shocks. What is the major differences beetween rs9000x vs rs9000x PRO vs stock shocks.

Where you going to park ? not in most garage's. as long as you know that the Fabtec lift is great and as said it handels good on the road . Installed one on a friends 05 H2 he loves it but has to park in the driveway and can't use parking garage's .
