no I'm an old school bicycle rider. I can't find enough stuff in the guis of real road bikes hardly any more. the stuff I have would be considered antquie by most standards even my carbon fiber stuff. the biggest thing I still collect is the really tall frames. I have stuff for guys in the 6'6" to 7' range in real old stuff. I also have a bunch of odd brand banana seat bikes.

Did you ever do any serious road racing? I'm into the bikes. I currently have a Trek 1500 SLR. Its a 53. You can't even hear it coming down the road as with most bikes. I am planning to do the MS 150 in June over in Texas if possible. I try to ride a good bit when family and work allow.

I don't think there's really a limit. I work from home, any trips out are strictly for errands and shopping, sometimes to take the boy places. I already limit myself to one tank a month or $75, whichever comes first. If gas went to $10/gal, well, I'd just do a little less driving then. But I'd never sell the H2. Never.

alright guys ims ick of the gas prices and they are expensive but! but but but!

look at it in this comparison, you pay about 3-4 bucks for a gallon of bottled water, when you could get it out of your sink! and in this comparison, at a restaurant you apya bout a buck 80 for a glass of soda, where it would take a bunch of those to equal a gallon, which is much much much more than any gallon of gas.

I still say you'd all pay it, doesn't matter the price.

I was in Italy last week. Beers were $13.50/bottle. Did that keep me from drinking at dinner? I think not.

whew I wish I could go one tank a month...I usually do three to four tanks a month, just depends if I am out on the road or in the office.

I put the 3 in the shop Friday and they gave me a Tahoe LOANER...

as of now I haven't been on the seat in some time. my buddy has started doing triathalons and I have been doing his bike for him. its a low line Trek. I have some better bikes for him but I figure he has to work his way up for the boat anchor.
I have a real nice Motobacane that just needs a freshening up that is just his size( He's about 5'5) so he needs a low profile frame. the trek he's on now is about 2" too high but he made it through the season on it.

as for more ideas to save gas? I have two 60"+ skateboards if anyones up to the challenge?
