its the bulb and it IS warrAnty ...
now the dam CD play is jammed... they have to take it out and send it somewhere else to extract the CD's and fix the unit...
BTW...Tahoe is a nice loaner...

At 27000 mi everything is till covered including bulbs. If they changed out the bulb and it works now, fine. but I have seen several loose bulb sockets that cause intermittant light problems on the h-3. If it happens again ask you dealer to check to sockets and/or add a little dialectric grease to the contacts.
