I thought Gays liked to be looked at. If not, What is with the assless chaps and flamboyant talk? And always accenting your ssss' that way. I think when God created homo's, he meant homosapiens. Not Homofags. Why not shut your mouth for a while and let the big boys talk.

9 times of out 10 a strap and a buddy pulling is more effective than a winch. Doesn't matter whether it's from the front or rear.

But I've seen several situations where a rear winch would have come in handy. And Ask Rox! We used her rear winch several times.

Yeah. Having a winch is a luxury. I do not use mine if I do not have to. I get deep into the woods a lot. That means be prepared or be walking.

I've used my winch rarely in self recovery. Maybe a dozen times in 10 years of wheeling. Mostly when I owned the Jeep. On one of them I used both to pull the H2 out from side sliding further down an abandoned mine pit when I got caught in a miniature landslide.

I've used my winches mostly to recover wheeling buddies or just being a good samaritan during the winter months. There are trails where it is impossible to turn around to access your front winch to help out one who gets stuck behind you. This has happened a lot.

Or strapping on a trail with multiple ledges or tight turns. West coast wheeling is not as easy and friendly compared to the wide open super traction surfaces of Moab.

It's not used as much as my front, but it's definitely a godsend when the need arises.

I'm surprised GayBob would make such a statement. I'm sure it's only because he's just hurt about something else. No block of wood to lean on.
