Blaming your actions on your environment/upbringing/ or anything else is an excuse and displacing responsibility. Nothing gives anyone the right to take an innocent persons life. Nothing. I am not so nieve to say no whites are gang bangers or drug dealers nor am I saying blacks can't be serial killers.

In 1980, there were 143,000 black men in prison and 463,700 enrolled in college.

The last line of the above paragraph should tell you it is an issue. 1980 when racism/prejudice was higher there were 143k in prison vs. 463,700 in college. Today 791k vs 603 in college. (In My granma voice) It's that damn Rap music. (Which I listen to before you call Al Sharpton on me)
