Re: Spark plug Socket, Size?
100k is bad mojo for plugs.. i hate to tell you how many heads i have to replace because when you wait that long the plugs have a tendency to remove some of the threads with them . at the dealership i used to work for we called it the 100 thousand mile head replacement.. i do mine every 30 k regardless.... and some more info platinum plugs are a waste of money.. i have corrected thousands of misfire codes .. when a small piece of carbon breaks off and causes the plug not to fire .. the piece was small enough on a platinum plug it would not fire and if it was a normal plug it would continue to fire and just burn off. just my .02 worth .................................................. .............. rich

Re: Spark plug Socket, Size?
I'm not changing plugs yet, but I read about the head being a problem if you wait for the 100,000 mile change out.
I just wanted to get a new, light tool kit made up to carry in the back, and felt that a nice new gap & feeler guage, as well as a plug socket would be a good addition.

The plugs are under the black plastic air handler on top of the engine...

Re: Spark plug Socket, Size?
Any idea of the proper gap size for these plugs? Are the AC Delco OEM replacements already gapped to size? Thanks!
