Saw the trailer. Looks like a mix of Charlton Heston's Omega man and some Twilight Zone episodes with better effects...
The last man standing theme against the evil virus & its minions is of course good with Wil Smith as the new hero

I absolutely loved it. I did get embarrassingly weepy though. I, too hugged my dog(s) when I got home. That made me cry the most. Hopefully it'll be on HD when it comes out.

Definitely a collectors DVD when it comes out.
It was worth seeing. Very cool. And I rarely go out to see movies.
I was however, disappointed with the movie long FORD endorsement.
And yes the dog death really got to me.
And I was surprised being he was at the time, the last man on earth and he was immuned to the virus, why he didn't try and tap some mutant ass when it was strapped securely to the table?

I thought the trailer looked good but then I thought I saw some scary part.
