She was driving a corolla esq car which was just toast. I mean the front 3 feet of the car just was not there. My truck looks like it got smacked, but the structural steel in the doors didn't flex one bit from what I saw. I was actually really impressed how well that truck took that hit. I do have the OEM rock rails so I think the that toughened up the impact protection. Built like a tank she is!!!!

...OEM rock rails seem pretty tough - during the installation I was pleased by their weight, material quality and eight bolt heavy-duty frame mount. I wondered if they'd help in case of side impact since they sort of extend the frame to the sides nicely...looks like they can contribute to safety in certain scenarios
