Also heard today that in order to meet the standards of the new mpg set by or fearless leader yesterday, the Corvette may be phased out by 2010 b/c of its 24mpg rating. Guess H2's will also be a thing of the past unless the diesel engine proves superior mpg gains over the current ratings.

Is that final or still in the works? I thought they were saying 35 MPH by 2025 and the auto industry said it could not happen.
