Where? According to their install instructions, the only modifications are to the skid plates, filing one of the crossmembers, and drilling holes for the front bumpstop brackets. Articles I have seen about the install also do not mention any cutting.

Nope. And since most people don't install them themselves there isn't much info on the process, which is why I asked the question. I'd like to get more details instead of the usual response of people just saying one lift is better because that's what they bought (like krazeehum ).
If you have installed both kits and have details about the install and real-life comparisons, I'm sure lots of people on here would be interested in hearing your opinon. Especially since I know you actually wheel your rigs.
