Which Christmas gift sucked this year?

My MIL hates me so it's always interesting to see what she sends. A few years ago it was a plastic cup from Walgreens with a manatee on it (she has a sea animal fixation which no one quite understands) - anyways, the cup still had the $1.69 price tag on the bottom. Hubby got a check for $150 and 6 hardback Stephen King books that year.

This year she went even cheaper (is it possible?) - it's a notepad with an otter on it. But on the back, it says "Thank you for your subscription, here's your free gift!" The worst part is, it's not even something I can sell on Ebay.

Anyone else get messed-up gifts?

Okay, that just sucks! I didn't get any bad gifts this year but one time a guy at work kept saying he had a surprise for me. This was years ago and so as to be on topic, it was around Christmas. I was really excited and when he gave me the gift, it was one of those troll pens. The ones with the freaky troll head and big fuzzy green hair. R's grandmother gave him a girl's sweater once for Christmas. (bless her heart LOL)
