We have a few of those bennihana or tepanyaki restraunts here. It's a fun experience for the kids and it's actually neat and comforting to see your food prepared right in front of you.

as compaired to the local China Buffet in Chelsea. I have gotten bad food twice. I think they buy crappy spring & egg rolls. the worst was the egg roll. I bit into it and when I lowered my hand it was gooy and stringy...rotten eggs. I was mad as hell but already had a bit in my mouth. I just spit it in my napkin and left. |

no not like that we have a few of those heres to but what im talking about is its a normal restaurant but they have like a what they call "market area" where you go up with your little pan go down the line pic what veggies and stuff and what sauce you want in it, you tell them if you want chicken or steak etc... and rice or noddles etc. and then they take your little pan thing and cook it infront of you in a wok and then you go sit down at your table. THey also have a normal Al La Carte menu to, but most people do the "stir fry" thing the restaurant is callefd Stir Crazy

It's called Mongolian BBQ in Anchorage. You fill it up with what or as much as you want...and hand it back to them to cook. It's fricken good! Especially the extra hot and spicy!

Yup, there's one here called Mongolie Grill. Always busy. But don't load up on the veggies. Load it up with lotsa meats. Over here, they charge by weight.

Damn, after reading your reply, I started jones'n for Mongo BBQ...spent the last 20 minutes searching for a joint still open in the Seattle area. Bummer! Hot and spicy sounded great. $hit I was gonna bail out of here by myself too! BBQ with some Kirin! Damn.
