Someone once said: When you get to a fork in the road. Take it.

Here if you go left, it takes you to the telescope. Right take you to where we want to go.
To go up to the telescope, you have to have prior written permission. This trip is in the works. Probably for Jan. or Feb.

Heres a shot from between the two peaks. If you look up on top of that ridge you can see the reflector of the telescope.

Default A little further up....

This is a little further up the Pico de Orizaba. It's a lot further than it looks.
The telescope is behind us in this shot.

Heres where it starts to get fun!
Note how dry it is. The temperature was down to about 48 deg. F.
Cold for the 23rd of December @ 14,000 ft.
Good view of the telescope in this shot.
At this point we are still hoping to see some snow. :-)
