Re: cognito leveling kit
I turned my bars two turns yesterday. I need to go more. Are you level at 2.5? I have the Cognitos but have not installed them yet. I may go a full three turns. I like the level look.

Re: cognito leveling kit
from info on this site i found that the cognitos are slightly longer(about 3/4'')than the standard shocks compressed thats why i am a bit worried !
with 2.5 turns,it sits 1.5'' lower at the front,i am happy the way it sits now so probably leave it until the tyres arrive and see!

Re: cognito leveling kit
No, the Cognitos are slightly shorter than the OEM shocks when fully collapsed. Can you please point me to the info you refer to?

Re: cognito leveling kit
type "cognito specs"in the "search this forum",go to page4 near the end!
it says cognito 11.77"compressed and OEM 11.25"compressed!
i am not sure if this info is correct!

Re: cognito leveling kit
Yep, you are correct looking at those measurements. It's been a while since I last thought of it.
You are still okay though as the Bilsteins will still allow the suspension to bottom on the bump stops. You can always extend the factory bump stop mounts to prevent nose dive or body roll. In order to do this, you may need to cut off the bracket and weld in a spacer to extend the front stops.
