Knob Creek is 100 proof. If I wanted to make rib jerky I'd baste them with it!
I think they'd turn out a wee bit on the "crispy critter" side after basting them in that much alcohol. I'll stick to what I know to be a proven recipe.

BTW
Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage kicks butt.
Knob Creek, and Evan Williams Black label are good.
As for mixing with water, chill a glass squirt some good cold clean water in the glass, pour it out and add 2 fingers of your Favorite Whiskey. This is the proper way to mix it. |
