ok you have to take off the left A-pillar molding to get at your reverse wire, then you have to tap into a wire behind your lower right kick plate for the speed sense wire, i had to run my mic wired thru the head liner to replace the mic that is for the onstarm there is about 50 million cables i had to splice and attatch. i did not use the GMOS connection as i ditched the onstar crap, so i used a 20 dollar harness that replaces the door chime. over all it took me about 2 weeks to get it all how i wanted. and i did a real ****ty job too but it works good tho

Re: aftermarket nav
I just installed the AVIC-D3 with rearview camera. f5fstop's post was very helpful for how to run the camera and other things, but finding the reverse and vss wires were unnecessary with the GMOS-04 (works with onstar and monsoon). All of the wires are on the GMOS-04, you just have to join them with solder or connectors to the pioneer harnesses before installation. The install wasn't bad at all, although I can't say I looked forward to it. Crutchfield, for a change, had a good price but was not helpful at all with the install, they don't even sell the proper bracket (the 382 from American International) and won't even order it for you even though they carry that brand.
