There's so much wrong with what you just said, where do I start?
The studio houses more than just one HUMMER, and possibly houses more than just HUMMER's. The H3 sits on a unique frame which was based off the colorado. It's heavily modified and reinforced, it's NOT the same frame. The H3T is based off the H3 frame but of course is lengthened. The bed is not a colorado bed, it's a completely new bed unique to the H3T.
Now about the unknown HUMMER, the airboxes are not the same as the H3T concept, and neither are the hood handles.
This is not the H3T concept.

Its to large of a change to be an h2. Hummer is not know for drastic changes on body styles. Hell the h1 hasnt changed since it was released and the h2 has been looking the same all 5 years its been out except for the minor mirror change and the 08 grill lettering relocation. Also if you take a look in trucktrend where they are testing out the h3t's it says. " GMT745 the new 4 door pickup is based on the existing h3, with the chassis lengthened 23 inches to accommodate a 5 foot colorado/canyon bed and full sized rear doors. How correct that is i dont know maybe try and picture the h3t bed without the extensions on the side.

Nothing is too drastic, the H2 sales are dropping, people want a change, a big change. This isn't the H1, which sold 12,000 units in its entire run. The H2 needs to be refreshed, and as has already been acknowledged by some people in the know, the H2 will get re-styled around 2009/2010.
Now about the H3T, that is not a colorado bed, not even remotely close. The bed is unique to the H3T.
Some magazine editors still say the H2 is built directly off the Tahoe frame, so that tells you enough about how reliable their info is.

Re: Speculation time...
well why would they use the old h2 for the h2t which isnt supose to come out for a few years. Also i thought the h2 was off a tahoe frame. You already said the h3 was a modified colorado frame which means it is a colorado frame modified or not it started as a colorado frame and they added a few things. I hope they dont ruin the brand anymore than they already have by making the new models futuristic looking. They have already downsized the brand, the h3 still holds the classic hummer look though. But as for the hx it just isnt Hummer.

 Search is your friend...
Regarding the H2 : "The final frame assembly is made up of 3 sections. The front uses a modified GM 2500-Series utility frame. The mid-section is all new and is completely boxed. The rear section uses a modifed GM 1500-Series frame which is upgraded for 8000 pound gross vehicle weight."
Regarding the H3: The H3 frames starts off as an H3 frame. Some components are shared, but pretty much every component is modified or in some cases completely different. Fully boxed, added crossmembers, modified components = new frame.
The H2T we've seen tested could be a mule for the new driveline, doesn't mean the body will stay the same.
And your opinions on the HX make no sense. Offroad spec wise, it's the most capable HUMMER since the H1. 56 degree approach angle, 51 degree departure, 25 degree breakover, and 13 inches MINIMUM ground clearance, sounds like a HUMMER to me...

They were most likely referring to the test mules, which did have C/C beds on them. Or they were just plain wrong like when they mentioned switching into 2H.
