I was told they were aware of the problem with recent batch of units, and that I could get a new unit, with a fix, by the end of the week from Logjam. I got the new unit and installed it yesterday, no engine noise, so I thought that life was good. The interface and installation are far superior than my former Axxess unit, plus the benefit of having an aux input to share between a Sat Tv, DVD, and game console.

Unfortunately, during 2.5 hours of driving today, I had the brake warning come on and a random chiming incident. I had not seen this thread before my purchase. It is a shame that such a great product is plagued by this problem. I will call Neucleus tomorrow to register my problems.

There seems to be several ways to wire up an Amp/Sub....
