these things drink alot of gas so if your a cheap as you may want to look at a diff suv, if you dont care about gas prices just looking for a good deal on a h2 then that sounds pretty good. Although i would go with an 08 because of the 6.2. Although the new interior is nice i like the old interior better, its more hummer.

For the sake of depreciation, if you really wanted that good of a deal, I would wait and get a used 08. That way you have the new model, and you let someone else take the first year new buyer hit.

The 07 and older ones are just going to keep going down in value with the new upgrades taking place on the 08

Is it a base model, Adventure or Lux? What's included? Sunroof, camera, chrome, etc? That will make the difference. I just went through all of this, too. I was 100% dead set on getting an '07, but ended up get an '08 3 days ago. I got a very decent price without the GMID, new build date, new interior (will make a difference in resale down the road since this was the first major interior change), etc. Check the build date of that '07 .. is it early '06 or '07? (Driver door sticker, upper right corner of sticker). The '07's I was finding were built in '06. The batteries were dead from standing on the lot, tires weren't loking too good. Check it all out and go from there. Good luck!

Hearing that it's the LUX with all that you had listed, I would tell you that it's a very, very good price! We spent a few months checking out the '07's and we were very good at negotiating. No one came near the offer you were given on an '07. We were offered similar to what you're looking at, but without a sunroof, brushguard or step ups .. for $49,900. One last word .. check the build date (out of curiosity), the tires and the battery. Actually the build date would tell you how long it was standing. After being on this forum for awhile, I got the sense that folks getting vehicles sitting on the lot for awhile had some issues with the tires and battery. THEN, hit them one more time with one last lower offer. I think the offer now is great. Keep in mind that the Hummer dealers are a little hungry now for sales since fuel prices went up. We shopped six dealers .. all said sales were way down. Perfect time for a Hummer lover to get one, in my humble opinion. Good luck and tell us if you got it!
