I just want to explain to everyone that this tie-rod video was a fraud, a farce, a facade a skit put on by none other than Japanese auto makers to fool you into thinking an H2 could break on the trail. It simply didn't happen. There wasn't even an H2 on that trail, not even an H2 within 100 miles.

Just one pic so far.. I forgot my camera once, and the wife was too scared to take pics the other time..

Had it hood deep in water and scratches before I even took the temporary tags off.

I am so confused right now. Are you guys being serious when you say that video is a fake??? i think sleep deprivation (spelling?) is starting to get to me, but i do remember being there to see and hear the tie-rod snap in person.

This was discussed in much detail in another thread...the right combination of factors will cause failure in ANY vehicle.

but the 2 big factors IMO: excessive skinny pedal, and where the hell was his spotter?
