There's a company in the mid-west that's been doing this as a swap. I checked with them last summer. A cool 15 grand to do it though. If someone would just give us a stinkin manual transmission with the 8 cylinder we'd be set!

yes. 4.8,5.3,6.0,6.2...all the same ls1 configuration.
Best part about the Alha H3 is the cast iron front diff, IMO.

The LS1 small block v8 is bored and stroked to fit all those configurations. Amazing!
The big block 7.4 liter. Heard that product is going away. At least in new production. Any truth to that rumor mill item?

The engineering truck also had a rancho lift on it...they like to play around with stuff - but you never know what, if anything, will ever be considered for production.
