Dropped off the H2 to the dealer for some warranty issues today. That 'jingly, pingy sound', they think, is either a heat shield or a belt. It's annoying, so I hope they locate the source.

We have an 03 and I'll bet it is the large under carriage shield.
Ours does it at low RPM and stops around 1500 RPM or so.

LOL .. I thought about doing that, but it's too new for that type of carnage.
This is what the dealer found and took care of .. "Serp belt is glazed, debris in pulleys - remove belt, clean pulley and change belts."
