This week the federal government will begin to distribute the Economic Stimulus checks that Congress recently approved. The checks will go to hundreds of millions of households in order to give them extra income to spend during these difficult financial times. With the price of gas at the pump and food at the super market continuing to rise, these checks can't come too soon for families across Washington state.

I guess that I should be very grateful to our Democrats in Congress for THEIR economic stimulus package.... . Hmmm....wait, wasn't she the one that raised our gas tax last year?
