Re: New Alpha
I'll have to see how the 20''s do off road!?
Although most of my off-road is actually light trails and horse pasture.
I used to have 20" wheels with 12" wide 32" A/T tires (305-50-R20), and it was OK on the light trail. However, beside relatively poor traction on steeper sandy/rocky terrain sections my main worry was the possibility of puncture on sharper rocks, so I swapped for rugged M/T tires ... but those Toyos you have look pretty sturdy, and terrain you described sounds perfect for those12.5" A/T's.

Re: New Alpha
I had a hard time deciding between an A/T or a M/T, and was actually about to throw on some irok radial M/T, but went with the Toyo's at the last minute (had a hook up at Discount tire) . Although I am pretty sure they are considered a M/T, albeit a radial and not a bias ply.......
By chance did you replace your shocks before you went wheeling? The stock shocks look pretty weak.
