Great. Saturday and Sunday mornings are about the only time you can drive down those streets and actually get anywhere.
Who the HELL is going to do yoga or anything else for that matter on the 150? summer asphalt of NYC? Stupid jackasses. 
Tank - The NY state dept. of transportation is only slightly less inept than the NY MTA (trains/ subways). Which means they would never think to do something halfway as intelligent as you suggested.

Actually they should still allow pedestrians into the park, why not go all out and make it a 4 by party and have a couple of hundred kegs complete with "wet-tee shirt" or "get naked" contest?! For a weekend!
