Re: Looking for Quiet Ride Tires
I was actually looking at those, $139.00 installed. I was also looking at Silent Armor Goodyear Fortera's Any opinion on these? If the ad is to be believed they're supposed to be very quiet.

Re: Looking for Quiet Ride Tires
The other stock tires, bridgestones that folks are always getting rid of to change to more aggressive tires ride quiet and smooth...
Often in the classified section here at the forum.

Re: Looking for Quiet Ride Tires
I would go with the factory 33,s I have 44,000 on them and there still looking meaty .I just rotate them every 8 to 12k.
They ride good ,offroad good and no road noise (maybe a little more then the 32,s that Ive heard dont last much over 30K)
Im thinking of getting a take off set if they ever wear down.

I purchased a set of Goodyear Forteras 3 months ago. They are absolutely the best tire I have ever had. They are a very, very quiet tire and are absolutely great in wet weather.I happen to have picked up a screw in my front tire and it didn't even go flat.I hate to recommend products, but this is one that I definitely would.

Re: Looking for Quiet Ride Tires
I've got the toyo open country A/T on my h2, they seem to be a lot quieter then the BFG but are still meaty looking and can handle rain and sand like nothing else.....

The BFG's are nice and good in the snow. Teh sidewalls of the bfg AT's have a stiffer sidewall than teh stock tires. So the ride foirmness will increase a little. Since you are looking for a little more smooth ride, I'd almost go up one size. This will offer a little more sidewall to soke up those mall parking lot pot holes. Try out a 285 (33")tire.
You may also want to look into Toyo Open Country AT, procomp AT's or extreme at's. I'm not sure on the available sizes of those though.

Re: Looking for Quiet Ride Tires
Thanks to all,
I'm going to go with the 265/75/16 114T Good Year Wrangler Silent Armor
seems like they'll do everything I want them to do.
$182. each, taxed, mounted, balanced & installed @ Sams Club.
