With all due respect, I'd be very cautious spending any amount of money on an alarm that takes snapshots. Do your homework folks. Find out the resolution, image capacity, delay between images, etc... Better yet, go find an in-store demo. Obviously the surveillance that caught the old bastard was not a cheap 341 dollar alarm that sends pictures to a remote. Sounds kinda gimmicky to me, but thats just me being cautious.

I'll bet most of you have a 250-500 deductible just to have the insurance re-paint your ride. Isn't it worth a little more to have a decent surveillance system? Or would you rather be out 500 + 341 and never get a good shot of the old man.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't make the Scytek alarms I am just a vendor. I think for the money it is a great idea. I know there are better surveillance systems available but most of those are not surveillance/alarms they are surveillance only. I think the big picture is not to have your car vandalized rather than just catch who did it. An alarm in most cases will scare away thieves and vandals but a surveillance system will allow you watch as they damage or steal your vehicle. I would rather watch as my alarm deters them. With that being said those are some really nice systems you posted.
