Tranny Overfilled!!

If your planning to install a cooler, you might lose some fluid anyway, so put your cooler on and check it again.

If you didn't notice any fluid dripping out the vent on the trans I would say your probally ok. But I wouldn't drive it to much until you put that cooler on or drain a little. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Well the cooler install is still a week or so away, so I found some teflon tubing I had in the garage and I put it down the the filler/dipstick opening and siphoned some of the ATF out. It only took a few minutes and it turned out the tranny was about a quart and a half over filled! Go figure...

Hi The fact is that the tranny will work more efficient ,with half inch more fluid in it i my self have upgraded the cooler over a year ago i am still running on drexon 3 but have well over here 1cm on hot above full line
