Just saw a 11-08 Motor Trend article that stated the I5 rating is only 60lbs greater than the v8 on the H3T for total payload. This is due to the extra lbs on the aluminum V8 over the Aluminum block I5.
Soo the H3T payload is Basically 1100lb or just over 1/2 ton with the I5 Base engine.
That is the rating based on GM records for understatement of parameters. Bet the actual s are much higher...
