Anyone install a set of chrome metal ones yet on the H3?
I really think they stick up too much, so I want to "hack" off about 1 inch from the bottom and not have the weird gap to fill with RTV or gasketing.
Cutting method? Wet saw so the chrome doesn't discolor?
Also, are the chrome ones hollow or solid?

Are you sure those are off an H2. Those are for sale for the H3 in the 2008 Hummer apparel, accessory and vehicle accessory catalog on page 91. I think the H3 handles and the H2 handles are different. i might be wrong though. i'm usually only right about 99.998% of the time.
