Does the engine crank, if not check the crank fuse. Have you had an ignition switch replaced in the past, if you have sometimes the connector at the switch is broken and backs out. remove the plastic steering column cover(lower half) check the connector. While your there you can check for power on i think the pink wire with the key in the run position. Have someone attempt to crank the engine and see if the starter relay in the underhood fuse block clicks, if not your not getting power to the relay or the relay can be bad

thanks I wil try that in the morn I have a frind that just came down from Novi micihigan and he worked at Novi Hummer for a while He told me to get all the info from you guys and print it out and he will read and scan over everything.
and try to fix it. also no crank when I try to turn the key........but all power is on.

Can you tell me how do I take the streering wheel off so I can chang out the casing for the egnition switch.....and do I need a special tool to enter the small pin holes on both sides.

I need help I need information or a diagram on how to disasemble the streering wheel on a 2003 h2 hummer.

Same exact thing just happened to me, truck was on E started sputtering and then stalled. Put gas in tank and then no crank. ignition and starter relays seem to be clicking, passlock 2 light remains lit and on star light is red. Was there ever a solution mentioned? Please help.

solution: fill up before you hit E.

List what all you have done so far. Did it have a passlock light before you started messing with it?.
