Ya know, I have seen H1's rolling with H2 wheels, but not sure what mods would have to be done either.
Alan on this board/ used to ahve an SUT and pruchased a Red H1 Open Top. He put his H2 wheels with 37's on the H1. you may want to PM him for more info.
I can tell you though, those beadlocks are waaaaay fawkin heavy..esp. for teh H2 front end. you may have to MOd some things to beef it up.

Ive seen tons of H1s with H2 wheels, but I dont think it will fit the other way because the H1 has inboard mounted brakes so the wheels are only made to clear the hub.
I know older dodge trucks can fit HMMWV wheels

They look damn cool. I always liked how the safari edition wheels looked. Very similar.

The h1 wheels will fit the h2 but the back spacing is about 1.5 less so the wheels sit in on the truck. Looks kinda goofy I tried. I'm sure if you used some spacers it would work of you wanted to go that route.
