Re: My New Ride
So, how do you like the auto as compared to the manual you had on the 3? I have the manual and i love it! I have had a couple of loaner 3's from the dealer that were autos and they were okay. Just curious to see if you think the manual or auto was better offroad.

Re: My New Ride
I liked the manual better, just having the ability to put it in the gear I want. More for fuel efficiency I guess. The auto is fine though. I'm pretty easy on it. I?m doing a few tests for mileage efficiency. Tank 1 ? just drive it (tailgate up). Tank 2, keeping it under 70mph and having the tailgate down.
The 3T has the 3.7L engine. I do feel a little more power when I need it which is nice, compared to the 3.5L in my '06.
Slant back is order. It was going to be a $750 shipping charge to NY, so I said I'd take a drive to St Louis to pick it up. Probably about $200 in gas round trip. Plus a day in St Louis. Maybe sample some beer at the Bud plant. See a Cardinals' game. The sales guy was talking to his manager and said he'd try to find me some tickets for a game if I wanted. But I have another connection so I didn't take him up on the offer. But it was appreciated. Should be making the trip at the end of April. Will post some more pics when it's on.
I thought about bigger tires. Doesn't look like there's room for a bigger spare underneath. What would you do if you got a flat in a 35" and only had a 33" spare?
Mbdoug, if that?s the part # for the gas cap, thanks!
