There are still SEVERAL interested parties in Hummer. There have even been some offers, but not close to what GM wants. If hey declare bankruptcy the court could decide who gets what, when and for how much. Why should they buy now when they can buy it at a fire sale after GM declares bankruptcy? Then you have the decisions on the H3 Shreveport plant, AM General H2 plant, and what part the civilian H1 will play in any negotiations. GM owns the rights to the H1, but AMG made it. Don't count AM General and Chengfeng Motors out. Plus, AM General just got a nice new Humvee contract from the government which would give them enough liquidity and cash. I think it's going to be a while before the final card is played in this game. I foresee the biggest problem is with the Hummer dealers being able to hang on much longer and the new buyer will loose its distribution base.

Well I'll just buy Backwards doing HUMMER and fix em up and keeep em going. Maybe I move back and get me and H2 to go with my H3.

The real shame is putting all those AMERICAN GM H3 and H2 Workers out on the streets.

Maybe I should get a 2nd H3 for a parts truck.

Not likely.. I'll by a Fiat I mean a Jeep or a Toyota.
I tried supporting GM but if they quit making Hummers I will unlikely buy another GM product

yeah it'll be a classic in 3000. right now its considered garbage by anyone who doesnt own one. gm doesnt know how to do business -- they are such *******s. i turned in my leased h3 because they wouldnt even negotiate on a realistic price. gm deserves to go out of business, and if that means the himmer disappears s be ut. gas is going up as we speak and will be back in the four dollar range again, especialy as the economy improves.

oh, nychot, you have always something nice to say about GM and Hummer, don't you?

I'm every bit sad about where GM is heading right now, but it won't change my desire to drive Hummer as long as I can find spare parts. H3 (or H2 in that matter) is certainly not a garbage; try to buy one... surely won't be your price.

I agree- if GM stops making Hummers- I'll not buy another GM vehicle EVER. Guess I'll just have to get a used H2. I've decided that the H3 isn't big enough for me anymore. I do love it dearly though!

true...but maybe they'll convert the factories to make other GM vehicles. I'm still ready to buy another Hummer if I see a model I want.
