Hi thanks, Chris at CoSTAR Technologies is very good to deal with and fast shipping. You will lose your on star and the vioce commands the ones when you push and hold the talk button on the steering wheel to switch radio bands because now they are to answer and hanging up your phone. The navigation vioce prompts still work fine, like turn left ect. But no echo at all i talked to Scott a member here in vegas today 3000 miles from me he said it sounded like a land line. Maybe Scott will tell you in his words how it sounds on the other end?

got mine installed and i must say...its a really nice unit and it sounds (on both ends) as good as a land line. i wish i would of bought this sooner...thanks tracey for the info on both the unit and the install.
