Just get a good name brand set and enjoy them. Should fit with no problems.

Re: 37x12.5x17 help with decission
I put about 50K mi on my Cooper 37" STT tires on my 06 H2. i replaced them a couple of months ago. I loved the STTs, and wanted to buy another pair. I honestly think they have the best traction across the spectrum of any offroad tire I have ever owned. But I was having just enough rubbing at full turn to make me want to solve that problem.
The 37" Coopers are 13.1" wide (according to specs--though enumerated as 12.5-inch). The 37" BFG KM2s are supposedly a true 12.5" wide. So, I went with the KM2s. I also put on some Moto-Metal wheels with in inch less backspacing--4.5"; the stock ones have 5.5".
I now have no rubbing at all ever. Also, and I cannot explain this at all: I constantly monitor my mpgs every day (just bored, I suppose). I had a local shop install the tires and wheels. I also had a new allignment and Royal Purple (had been using Mobile 1). I don't know which among those factors have strangely caused this, but I am getting somewhere between 0.5 and 0.7 better mpgs--consistently with the exact same driving patters. It makes no sense to me, but it's definitely gone up.

Re: 37x12.5x17 help with decission
Very interesting MarineHawk. I have the 37" Cooper STTs as well, on my second set now, LOVE them to death. I only have a teeny tiny bit of rubbing when turning full lock. I know some have no rubbing at all, I guess all H2s are a bit different.
Can you give a comparison of the STTs and the KM2s? Noise? Traction? Ride?

Re: 37x12.5x17 help with decission
BFG Mud-Terrain (37x12.50x17) on stock rims. No rubbing...but I also put on the Cognito leveling kit, so that might have helped a bit.
I find the BFGs mud-terrains to be a slight bit louder than the BFG all-terrains on the road; but I hardly even notice (of course I also put on some headers and a Flowmaster exhaust...so that could be skewing my perception of the actual noise difference).

True enough.
So far, the STTs and KM2s have been pretty similar in noice, traction, and ride--that is to say very good. Have not taken the KM2s off-road yet.

I've seen the same with the Royal Purple. I used it for everything and my increase was more along the line of 1.4

Re: 37x12.5x17 help with decission
....pics of my old truck
Try to stay with a 12.50 wide tire. 13.50 wil rub more on your swaybars and will have a better chance of taking out your rear airbag sensor (if you have air susp). I have wheeled a couple trucks with 37's/ pushed them hard. One truck had air susp. the other did not. The air. susp. truck, I hit the sensor due to a failed swaybar link (allowed more flex) and blew out teh bag. There is an air sensor mod you can do that works to solve that issue as well. ...not a bad idea to do anyhow.

...although I would go with a different bolt setup. I would make a metal sleeve to use as a spacer and than tighten a smaller headed bolt to the spacer so you don;t pinch the arm.
