Yes. Once the fault is no longer present the codes will go into history and the light will go out. History codes clear after 50 ign cycles i believe but wont affect operation

I don't have my truck right now it?s currently at Rubberduck4x4. So I cant just go out and look into it.

Okay so I want to tap into this wire after the fuse. I am assuming the fuse for the ETC is located in the driver side dash fuse panel? Also can you tell me what color wire is coming out of the back of the panel?? And where it might run too? I would like to find a convenient place to splice a switch into that wire.

I am also thinking that I might try to pull the fuse and get into something sloppy and see how well the truck performs before I go through all the fuss of doing this.

uhh I dont like the location of that fuse. HMMMMMTECH! lol.. Can you tell me where this wire might enter the truck so I can spice it? I am really getting tired of putting holes in my fire wall plug/grommet thingy lol. I am guessing this wire can be found comming into the ecm in the center console?

Eric, I will try to look through the SM and see if I can find a place inside the cab to get to the wire but, electrical crap is NOT my forte but I will look see for ya.

Eric, Don?t know if these will help but they are the best I can do.

If HUMTECH is saying to pull ETC/ECM fuse or splice into the circuit to accomplish what you are trying to do, it looks like the PINK 1339 wire goes to the Ignition 1 Voltage in cavity number 8 of the connector that goes to the EBCM which appears to be on the inside of the driver?s side frame rail. If this is all correct wouldn?t you want to splice the PINK 1339 wire in that harness, possibly some place easily accessible ?

Also, if you was to pull that fuse the manual shows that it also controls the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) and I do not know what would happen then, hence why you might want to go straight to the pink wire coming off the cavity number 8 of the EBCM.

Hope this some where close to what you are trying to do and if anyone notices something not correct or has better info please speak up.
