I have the air suspension, but I'd be just as happy without it. If you offroad a lot it's helps your approach and departure angles by a few degrees.

Hi I am glad mine doesn't have air ride, because sooner or later it will be a problem.

My 09 Has Air Ride.. and has about 4 K miles. It has a nice smooth ride. I've been off road with it and it does help with articulation from left to right as well as adding 2 inchs to the rear for departure angle.

Not recomended to use for towing...just for raising you ass end up if you need the clearenace off raod. Some guys have replaced the bags with the stock springs rather then put money into repair if out of warranty.

Me... I Like it ...I bought and extra extended warranty..I don't have to worry for the next 7 years or 65 K miles.

I say go with the air ride ..if it blows down the road... replace with the springs. If you go with the spring equipped SUT... You'll still enjoy the ride..and performancen off road...Either way ..your get-en a great rig.

Thanks for all the help. Im in OKC now and getting ready to go to the dealer. I decided on the air-they are gonna try to add the cover before I leave as well as side steps. Cant believe the 09 doesnt come with steps and a brush guard like my 05 did. Have not drove either yet, so I still might change my mind.
Its suppose to snow 3-4 inches on the way back home!!!
Good test for the new rig. I'll keep you guys updated.

If you don;t tow- GO WITH THE COIL SPRING SETUP!!!!!

You will never have to worry about issues with the air susp. than.

I am pulling the air susp. on mine either this week or next. Change the shocks out to Rancho 9000XL's and you'll never miss those air bags.

I believe ALL of the H2s will be collector cars down the road. There the 1970 Chevelle 454SS of our generation.

Don't give up yet... Rumor has it that GM Just gave a 60 Day extension to there dealers as they are now entertaining offers from some one else.
