Re: Free Oil Change & Rotation offer. Any takers?
If your using reg oil you might as well get the free changes.
On the recall, did they just glue the tabs in like I heard ?
I check mine regularly and they seem fine.
I dont like the idea of glueing them in.
Did they do a clean job of it or is a noticable drippy mess ?

Re: Free Oil Change & Rotation offer. Any takers?
442,
Not certain but think they glued it down. Got the oil change even though I was using Mobil 1 since after break in. Got the free rotation too. They even gave me a pass to the car wash across the highway which was sweet.
Even though it was 30 miles each way. considering going back since it
was fun to look at the showroom models and drink free coffee and bagels.
There was no sales pitch and overall very satisfied with the offer. Those Escallades are very sweet. 75K is too much coin for me.

Re: Free Oil Change & Rotation offer. Any takers?
I've used my card/coupon twice now at Sewell Dallas.
A little up-selling for additional services.....as expected but not out of line.
I have to say though, it does feel strange having to go to the Caddy shop for service.......but overall, a positive experience.
Still... It's some sad **** driving by their old HUMMER store......the facility got converted to a Subaru dealership.

Re: Free Oil Change & Rotation offer. Any takers?
Took my H2 back to Lynch last week, even though it's like a ghost town there now. One service manager and three mechanics that have been doing Hummers for years and years, but they really know Hummers there. They had another two H2s there, an H3, two H1s and over half the service bays were empty. It's sad to see what GM did to him. The only all Hummer dealer in the US and GM said he didn't even qualify for the new program. The guys there still eat, drink, and sleep Hummers. They will talk Hummers and offroading all day with you, even though the showroom has all guns in it now. It wasn't free and it cost a little bit to get the oil changed and have my H2 looked over, but worth every penny to me. I had such a great buying experience with my H3 and H2 there, and such OUTSTANDING service over the years, that I'm sticking with him till the end!

Re: Free Oil Change & Rotation offer. Any takers?
dont mean to bring up to old of a thread but ive used this card several times now and its great, just tell em i need an oil change and/or rotation and what not and tell them i have the card and they do it no questions asked and no trying to get me to get anything else. then again though i have been going to the same service guy since i had my first hummer in december of 06 so weve gotten along well, dont know what they do if you brought it to somebody for the first time with it though but at the end of the day you wouldnt have to get anything else to claim it just read the card!
