Looks good! If it does get chipped up from everyday driving and you do choose to repaint I suggest 2 cans of Bedliner. They come in rattle cans. I used the kind made by 3M. Haven't had a chip yet, been a few months. To the EuroHummer guy, I had my H2 lifted 6" and they kept the stock skid plate in it's location. So you wont need to make one or look to buy anything aftermarket.

Jonny I think you are going with a bigger lift kit anyway and wont need the skid plate anymore but I think you would have to have it custom made.
