rear seat doesn't fold

Mine had one of the cables break inside the framing, so it looks like it is attached on both ends, but the systme does not engage on one side when folded. With this, you just have to manually engage the one that did not move when you are going to fold the seat down.

The photo that Ed posted doesn't look like the underside of my H2. Maybe his H2 is an earlier model. Mine is a 2005.
How would you manually engage the the release? I only have a release on the left side and when the seat is pushed forward, it doesn't move like the driver's side seat release with the cable attached. I will attach a photo later.
