I was just wondering, if you traded this truck in at $40k, wouldn't this be like selling it for $44k. It would be in TN because you only pay taxes on the trading difference, so in essence you would save $4k in taxes. Money saved is money earned.

I was just wondering if things work out in your state the same way it does here.
