basically because its cheap nasty plastic chrome in places it doesnt belong.

I think this truck can be toned down a bit by removing some of the chrome pieces, however there is nothing wrong with chrome on a Hummer. I think the OP's truck is just fine if that's what he wants to make it his own.
I personally think lifting a Hummer with lift kits and huge ass tires any more than it already is is just as
