If I remember correctly there have been a few who have mounted them to the frame rails pointing forward-another possible option.

You could point those straight down and still have the same impact 360 degrees around you...

Yes if you point them down the sound will hit the ground and have the same impact 360 degrees. If you point them forward it will be very loud ahead of you but half as loud behind you. Trust me they are loud enough, not need to point them forward.

I must be lost... where is the air stored on the OP?s setup he?s looking at? I have air horns and even though the tank is fairly large, it uses A LOT of air FAST. I can?t hold the horn down for more than 3-4 seconds at a time.

It?s LOUD but like I said, uses air fast.

That?s what I thought but it?s so small. My tank is huge compared to that one and I don?t feel mine is large enough, I can?t imagine how show the horn blast will be with a tank that small.

The more air the horns use the louder they are. That setup has only two horns and they probably have much less flow. I heard you need at least 3 horns to get the "train" sound. The more the merrier plus you want fat air lines so flow isn't restricted. My guess is those horns are pretty weak comparing to hornblaster's horns.
