I don't carry one, but I think carrying it outside the truck will cause it to rust and be another thing to wash. What about mounting it on the ceiling inside the truck somewhere? Or on the inside of the liftgate? That would keep it out of the elements AND out of the way. Just some thoughts.

Yeah...I'm feeling you on this. The thought had crossed my mind. I ordered the Neoprene jacket for it to help protect against the elements, but then it's just matter of how long before someone pisses me off by stealing it... Quote:

I'll look at some other interior options this weekend. I think the lift gate would be a decent location, but it would prolly make the door too heavy.
