Default Re: Original Owners ?

Just popped in to check the forum out and found this thread.

Good to see some of the originals on here. I'm not sure if I qualify as old guard, I joined in August 2005 when I bought my first H3.

Now on number 5. Never had any problems, I just tend to trade too often.

Latest is a 2010 base model, 19k when I bought it and 36k now. Unless a pristine jewell comes along with low miles (and a V8), I'll hang on to this one....I think I've said that before.

still check the website every now and then! been a member here since before i got my first hummer. Got the first H3 in December of 2006 it was a brand new 2007 base slate gray model, i traded it in, in July 2010 it had 67,000 miles on it at the time. for a brand new 2010 H3 Alpha in Canyon Metallic it currently has 35,000 miles on it and i have no intention on getting rid of it anytime soon! i love hummers too much and theres nothing out there that intrigues me as much as a hummer, id go for an h1 if i had the chance though!

I'm an original owner. I own a black 2006 with the luxury package and fully loaded. I bought it in September 2005 and it has 107,000 miles. It's been trouble free for the most part. I hate the faded black plastic which is my only complaint. I use back to black and other similar products however and it seems to work well.

Overall no major complaints. I honestly want a Jeep Grand Cherokee but will try to hold out for the 2014 model. Until then it's me and the ole' H3. She's given me a lot of memories!

Just signed BC I'm stumped about mirrors says last time I signed in was 2008. Got my 2006 yellow adv in Aug 2005 now 80,000 miles I literally still smile when I get in my Hummer. Only problems first six months Amp went. Now the sprockets on my driver seat motor slipping bad with in ten minutes seat would bottom out. Other than that I'd say it was money well spent

Still have ours since '07. 112K miles and still going strong. Replaced radiator last year and both front hubs will be replaced this weekend. Other than that it's been great! Oh, also replaced misc control unit lights that burned out.

I'm still around! My 2007 H3 has 107k miles on it and still looks fairly new, albeit with a few scratches on it!

Did everyone see the latest GM recall regarding the blower motor resistor? It's about time GM and the NTHSA came to the realization these parts short out and melt the connector! I've replaced this part twice now for the same issue.

Bill

Still here Commented a while back on this thread, still have my 2010 H3 Alpha which i've owned since new, the radio controls are starting to not always work so that may need some replacing soon. other than that still running strong with 77k miles on it. Also have a "03 H1 HMCS I got last year got it with 36k miles, now has just over 40k miles. Love it, that one I've had some maintenance things with! Got a crack in the left windshield - replaced it, AC blower motor broke - replaced it. front valves for the CTIS system constantly leaked - replaced them. lastly had a small coolant leak which was fixed and the starter would not always worked - had that starter replaced. has been good other than that, hopefully not to many more other things come up!

My wife still has her 06 adventure package. Bought it new in 07, just before the 07s came out. I don't know how many miles we have on it now. I think it's in the neighborhood of 180k. She still loves it and won't get rid of it. But she has agreed to sell it when the Grenadier comes out in 2023. That seems ro be the only one that's sparked an interest. I've cussed it a few times, but over all, it's been pretty good to us. I seldom get into the forums, but happened in and saw rhisnpoat so I thought I'd share. Take care, all.
