3157.
I just bought a new pair and installed in seconds. The first pair lasted 14 months. $6 a pair, painted blue glass, me like much, others hate, nice blue white light, like no other Hummer.

Yes.. mine was fitted with the 4114k bulb. Read on the Osram site that the 4114k bulb was made especially for DRL

My Hummer came with 3157 DRL bulbs and I have used 3157 replacements.

4157, I was told is an extra version, in power output or life, I have also read here long ago that someone used 4157 and burned the fuse or wires. May not be worth the risk to try that.
My cheap 3157s last 12-14 months, I think that is good value enough, to mess with 4157, you may end up with some mess.

In DRL, the light is just for look, not to see but to be seen. Among the H2s I have seen coming my way during daytime, all have the factory yellow DRL light. As they say: "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!"

Check out our (PhilD and Hum2), past threads on replacing the DRL's...mine have been perfect...they are 03 Lincoln Navigator fixtures, adjustable and use a 9004/5 55w bulb...no more wimpy DRL's, and I jumped the relays to run them at night as well.
